Welcome to Grade 6 English Class- 2013-2014
I have enjoyed teaching English to sixth graders at Glenwood Middle School for 22 years and in other Howard County Schools for 8 more years before come to western Howard County. I love working with sixth graders. I have two grown children. My oldest son, Joe, is a golf professional at a Baltimore County facility and my youngest, Mike, just started teaching science at Ellicott Mills Middle School. I'm am proud of both and they have taught me many life-lessons. Watching and assisting them in their journey through the education system made it clear to me daily that my students have a village supporting them.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch with me with any issue you'd like to discuss. Parents, please encourage your students to talk to me first as that is a great life-lesson about speaking to a teacher/employer to solve a problem. Students, don't be shy. Speak up for what you need of me.
I am not very tech-savy, so my web page will be very humble, but I'm learning. As I encouraged you to do, I've been asking questions of those who know, so I can improve.
